AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING TWO UTILITY EASEMENTS LOCATED WITHIN THE
STONEGATE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS;
PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT the ten (lU) foot wide by approximately eighty-two (82)
foot long utility easement located between Lots 5 and 6,
Block 13, Stonegate Addition, as recorded in Volume 388-196,
Page 83, P.R.T.C.T., and the five (5) foot wide by approximately
one hundred fourteen (114) foot long utility easement located
along the south property line of Lot 6, Block 13, Stonegate
Addition, as recorded in Volume 388-196, Page 83, P.R.T.C.T., and
as both said utility easements are more specifically described in
attached Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein be
and the same are vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and
extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated
utility easements is hereby released and shall revert to the adja-
cent owner as provided by law, SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements are
retained for any and all existing and prospective utilities.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so
ordained.

BEGINNING 5.0 feet South 00°22'23" West, from the Northeast corner of said Lot
5, and the Northwest corner of Lot 6 of said Block 13;
THENCE South 00°22'23" West, along the common line of said Lots 5 and 6, a
distance of 76.98 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 6;
THENCE South 89°37'37" East, continuing along the common line of Lots 5 and 6,
a distance of 15.0 feet to a point for corner of said easement;
THENCE South 00°22'23" West, along East line of said easement, a distance of
10.0 feet to a point;

SUBJECT VACATION OF TWO UTILITY EASEMENTS: STONEGATE ADDITION, BLOCK 13, LOTS 5 & 6,
TOREY PINES DRIVE EAST OF OAK HILL CIRCLE V-91-47
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a 10-feet
wide by approximately 82-feet long utility easement located between Lots 5 and 6, Block
13, Stonegate Addition, and a five-feet wide by approximately 114-feet long utility
easement located along the south property line of Lot 6, Block 13, Stonegate Addition,
both recorded in Volume 388-196, Page 83, P.R.T.C.T.
DISCUSSION:
Mr. Jody Vasquez, owner of all abutting property, has requested that the City Council
vacate the above-described easements for the purposes of constructing a residential
building over the above-described easements and incorporating Lots 5 and 6 as one
residential lot. The portions of the easements identified for vacation do not contain
any utility facilities. Reviewing City departments and utility companies have raised
no objections to this request. An acceptable replat has been submitted.
This request is located in Council District 9.
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION:
A one dollar fee satisfies the interest of the City of Fort Worth in this request.
