BACKGROUND Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital recently submitted a plan for the instal- lation of directional signs in and around the campus of Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital. These signs are for the purpose of public instruction and are not business signs. Therefore, they serve the "common good" of the pub- lic. It is anticipated that other hospitals in Fort Worth may follow suit and request right-of-way signage on their campuses. If so, each application will be reviewed and considered on an individual basis. The Construction and Fire Prevention Board of Appeals has reviewed the amendment and recommends approval.
