RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council adopt an ordinance vacating excess
right-of-way of Pershing Avenue, located along the south westerly property
line of Lot 1, Block 6, Westridge Addition, as recorded in Volume 1807,
Page 306,. P.R.T.C.T., as approved by the City Plan Commission.
DISCUSSION.
Mr. Joseph. Minton, owner of the subject property, has .requested that the
City vacate the above-described portion of a street right-of-way as shown
on the attached map.
This portion of the subject street, acquired by dedication, is undeveloped
excess parkway. There are na utility facilities located within the right-
of-way requested for vacation. The subject vacation request has been pro-
posed in order to replat the vacated right-of-way with the adjoining land.
The Land Agent for the City of Fort Worth has determined that a $4,968.00
fee satisfies the interest of the City in this public right-of-way.
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no
objections to this request. A satisfactory replat has been submitted.
