DISCUSSION Mr. Emil Freiwald, consultant and representative of Uncle Joe's Pawn Shop, owner of a parcel of land adjacent to Fort Worth Avenue out of the Wade H.. Hudson Survey, A-718, Tracts 4C, 4C1, 4D and 4D1, with the approval of Lloyd C. Blair, owner of all other adjacent property, has requested that the City vacate the above described street right-af-way as shown on the attached map. The subject street, acquired by dedication, is open on the ground and does contain telephone, sewer, electric, and street light facilities. Acceptable arrangements for dedication of utility easements for the utility facilities is made on the replat of this property and arrangements for the removal of street lights have been made with the Transportation and Public Works Department. The subject vacation request is being made in order to include the vacated street as part of the redevelopment of the above described tracts of land out of the Wade H. Hudson Survey. The Land Agent for the City of Fort Worth has determined that a $6,325.00 consideration will satisfy the interest of the City in this public right-of-way. Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no objections to this request. A satisfactory replat has been submitted.
