AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING AN EMERGENCY ACCESS EASEMENT AND TWO RELATED
PUBLIC OPEN SPACE EASEMENTS LOCATED WITHIN THE CAMPUS
BUSINESS PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PRO-
VIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT the twenty-seven (27) foot wide by approximately one
hundred fifty (150) foot long emergency access easement with two
public open space easements located in Lot 2, Block 4, Campus
Business Park Addition, as recorded in Volume 388-207, Page 100,
P.R.T.C.T., and as more specifically described in attached
Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein, be and the
same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extin-
guished.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated emer-
gency access easement with two public open space easements is
hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as pro-
vided by law, SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements are retained for any
and all existing and prospective utilities.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so
ordained.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council adopt an ordinance vacating a 27' wide
by 150' long emergency access easement with two public open space easements
located in Lot 2, Block 4, Campus Business Park Addition.
DISCUSSION.
Walmart Stores, Inc., parent company to Sam's Wholesale, owner of the subject
property, has requested that the City vacate this emergency access easement and
adjoining two public open space easements. The easement was acquired by
dedication, and if approved the area will be used to provide additional
building area for the expansion of Sam's Wholesale Warehouse.
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no
objection to this request. A satisfactory replat has been submitted which
accommodates the necessary access easement.
The Director of Real Property Management has determined that a $1.00
consideration fee satisfies the City of Fort Worth's interest in this request.
