SYCAMORE SCHOOL ROAD
(V-85-93)
RECOMMENDATION.
It is recommended that the City Council adopt an ordinance vacating the
remaining portion of ~Jld Sycamore School Road in the 1700-1800 blocks between
Crowley Road and the new location of Sycamore School Road at the intersection
of Everman Parkway as located in Tracts 1 and 3, G. Herrera Survey, as
recorded in Abstract #2027, P.R.T.C.T., and as recommended by the City Plan
Commission.
DISCUSS ION.
Messrs. John Q. Melcher, and Charles Weatherby, owners of all adjacent
property, have requested that the City vacate the above described street
right-of-way as delineated in Exhibit A and shown on the attached map.
The subject street right-of-way is not open on the ground and does not
contain any utility facilities. The subject vacation request is being made
in order to include the vacated right-of-way as part of the adjacent
property.
The land agent for the City of Fort Worth has determined that a $1.00
monetary consideration for the vacation and transfer of this public
right-of-way is necessary.
