F, r ,~ . _ ,., ORDINANCE NO. ~~~~ AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND EXTIN- GUISHING A UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED IN THE RIDGLEA ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, AS MORE SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED HEREIN; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH ; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE . BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1 . ,Pa ~~, s That the -~ei~ (y6) foot by one hundred ninety-eight (198) foot utility easement as described more specifically in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference for all purposes and being located in Lot 9, Block 52 of the Ridglea Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, the plat of which is recorded in Volume 388-133, Page 27 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished. SECT ION 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here- with are repealed. SECTION 3 . That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained. RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that City Council adopt an ordinance vacating a 5' X 198' utility easement, located in Lot 9, Block 52, Ridglea Addition, as recorded in Volume 388-133, Page 27, P.R.T.C.T. n•rn~~rr rnu Mr. Robert S. Jackson, owner of subject property has requested the City to vacate the above-described utility easement, as shown on the attached map. The subject easement, acquired by dedication, is platted but does not contain any utility facilities The subject vacation is made in order to utilize the vacated easement as part of the development of the subject property.
