V ORDINANCE N O AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE ESTIMATED RECEIPTS IN THE SPECIAL TRUST FUND 72, PROJECT 515100-00, NEIGHBORHOOD CONFERENCE CONTRIBUTIONS, OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1990 BY THE SUM OF $3,800 AND APPROPRIATING SAID $3,800 TO THE SPECIAL TRUST FUND 72, PROJECT 515100-00, NEIGHBORHOOD CONFERENCE CONTRIBUTIONS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING THE FOURTH ANNUAL NEIGHBORHOOD CONFERENCE; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; MAKING THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF PRIOR ORDINANCES AND REPEALING ALL PRIOR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, PROVIDING FOR ENGROSSMENT AND ENROLLMENT, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1 That in addition to those amounts allocated to the various City departments for the Fiscal Year 1990 and in the Budget of the City Manager, there shall also be increased estimated receipts in the Special Trust Fund 72, Project No 515100-00, Neighborhood Conference Contributions, in the amount of $3,800 and increased appropriations of said amount in the Special Trust Fund 72, Project No 515100-00, Neighborhood Conference Contributions, for the purpose of conducting the Fourth Annual Neighborhood Conference SECTION 2 Should any portion, section or part of a section of this ordinance be declared invalid, inoperative or void for any reason by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision, opinion or judgement shall in no way impair the remaining portions, sections, or parts of sections of this ordinance, which said remaining provisions shall be and remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3 That this ordinance shall be cumulative of Ordinance No 10363 and all other ordinances and appropriations amending the same except in those instances where the provisions of this ordinance are in direct conflict with such other ordinances and appropriations, in which instance said conflicting provisions of said prior ordinances and appropriations are hereby expressly repealed. SECTION 4 The City Secretary of the City of Fort Worth is hereby directed to engross and enroll this ordinance by copying the caption and effective date into the minutes of the City Council and by filing this ordinance in the ordinance records of the City of Fort Worth. SECTION 5 This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained. Accept and record in the Special Trust Fund 72, Project No. 515100-00, Neighborhood Conference Contributions, donations from the Fort Worth City Credit Union ($1,000), Carswell Credit Union ($500), Hillwood Development Corporation ($1,200), Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce ($850), and Waste Systems ($250), and 2. Adopt the attached appropriation ordinance increasing estimated receipts and appropriations by $3,800 in the Special Trust Fund 72, Project No. 515100-00, Neighborhood Conference Contributions from increased reve- nues, and 3. Approve the expenditure of the above $3,800 in Special Trust Fund 72, Project No. 515100-00, Neighborhood Conference Contributions, for the Fourth Annual Neighborhood Conference. DISCUSSION: On November 18, 1989, the City will participate in the Fourth Annual Neighbor- hood Conference at the Amon G. Carter, Jr. Exhibit Building. In addition to the City, other co-sponsors are the Fort Worth League of Neighborhoods Association, Community Development Council, Neighborhood Advisory Councils, and the United Way. The purpose of the conference is to improve communica- tion within and among neighborhoods and City government, as well as to develop community leadership skills. Contributions have been received from the Fort Worth City Credit Union ($1,000), Carswell Credit Union ($500), Hillwood Development Corporation ($1,200), Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce ($850), and Waste Systems ($250) to help defray the cost of the conference. FINANCING. Upon completion of recommendations 1, 2, and 3 above and adoption of the supplemental appropriation ordinance, sufficient funds will be available in Special Trust Fund 72, Project No. 515100-00, Revenue Index Code 087924, for the City of Fort Worth to participate in the Fourth Annual Neighborhood Conference.
