HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 10350-' y.s t, ~, y ,4 y ~ W ORDINANCE N0. ~~ AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND EXTIN- GUISHING A DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT MORE SPECIF- ICALLY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND BEING LOCATED WITHIN THE BENTLEY VILLAGE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECT ION 1 . THAT the twenty (20) foot wide by three hundred thirty-six (336) foot long utility and drainage easement located in Lot 1-R, Block K, of the Bentley Village Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Texas, the plat of which is recorded in Volume 388-151, Page 33, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, said easement being more specifically described in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference for all purposes, be and the same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished. E. Ballard Survey, Abstract No. 242, and being a portion of Lot 1-R, Block K, Bentley Village Addition, an addition to the city of Fort Worth as shown on the map recorded in Volume 388/151, Page 33, County Records, Tarrant County, Texas. Said 20 foot wide strip is shown on the map of Block K, Bentley Village Addition, Section 1, an addition to the City of Fort Worth as shown on the map recorded in Volume 388/97, Page 19 said County Records: Commencing at an "X" found in the northwest, corner of a 2' X 2' concrete column found at the northwest corner of Lot 1-R, Block K, Bentley Village Addition, and also being in the southerly right-of-way of John T. White Road; Thence N 8$° 52'00" E with the southerly right-of-way of John T. White Road, 320.26 feet to the point of beginning of the herein described 20 foot wide strip; Thence N 88° 52'00" E with the southerly right-of-way of John T White Road, 12.70 feet to a 5/8" iron with cap at the beginning of a curve to the left; Thence 12.65 feet with the arc of said curve to the left and the southerly right-of-way of John T. DI SCUSSIO~V: Steve Mild er, surveyor, representative of the owner of the subject property, has requested that the City vacate the above described utility and drainage easement as shown on the attached map and further described in the attached field notes, Exhibit A. The subject drainage and utility easement, does not contain any utility facil- ities. The subject vacation is made in order to utilize the vacated easement as part of the subject property. The Director of Real Property Management has determined that a $1.00 consid- eration fee satisfies the City of Fort Worth's interest in this request, Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no objec- tion to this request.
