AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE ESTIMATED RECEIPTS IN THE SPECIAL TRUST FUND, FUND 72,
PROJECT 5021'13-00, CRESTLINE AREA IMPROVEMENTS, OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1989 BY THE SUM OF $8,090 AND APPROPRIATING SAID $8,090 TO THE SPECIAL TRUST FUND,
FUND 72, PROJECT 502113-00, CRESTLINE AREA IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING
DEVELOPMENT OF THE VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK AND THE TRIANGLE AT CRESTLINE ROAD AND
NEVII.LE STREET, PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABII.TTY CLAUSE, MAKING THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF
PRIOR ORDINANCES AND REPEALING ALL PRIOR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, PROVIDING FOR
ENGROSSMENT AND ENROLLMENT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS
SECTION 1.
That in addition to those amounts allocated to the various City departments for the
Fiscal Year 1989 and in the Budget of the City Manager, there shall also be increased
estimated receipts in the Special Trust Fund, Fund 72, Project No 502113-00, Crestline Area
Improvements, by the sum of $8,090 and appropriating said $8,090 to the Special Trust Fund,
Fund 72, Project No 502113-OO,Crestline Area Improvements for the purpose of funding
development of the Veterans Memorial Park and the Triangle at Crestline Road and Neville
street
SECTION 2.
Should any portion, section or part of a section of this ordinance be declared invalid,
inoperative or void for any reason by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision,
opinion or judgement shall in no way impair the remaining portions, sections, or parts of
sections of this ordinance, which said remaining provisions shall be and remain in full
force and effect.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall be cumulative of Ordinance No 10151 and all other
ordinances and appropriations amending the same except in those instances where the
provisions of this ordinance are in direct conflict with such other ordinances and
appropriations, in which instance said conflicting provisions of said prior ordinances and
appropriations are hereby expressly repealed.
SECTION 4.
The City Secretary of the City of Fort Worth is hereby directed to engross and enroll
this ordinance by copying the caption and effective date into the minutes of the City
Council and by filing this ordinance in the ordinance records of the City of Fort Worth.
SECTION 5.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its passage, and it is so ordained.

Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Council
1. Accept a gift of $8,090 from the Crestline Area Neighborhood Development
Associ-ation for the purpose of funding development of the Veterans Memorial
Pa~rk•~and the Triangle at Crestline Road and Neville Street, and
2. Adopt..the attached appropriation ordinance increasing estimated receipts
and appropriations in the Special Trust Fund 72, Project No. 502113-00,
Crest line Area Improvements, by $8,090 from increased revenues, and
3. Authorize the expenditure of the above monies for improvements listed below
to Veterans Memorial Park and for the triangle at Crestline Road and
Neville Street.
Background
On January 20, 1987 (M&C G-6927), City Council gave conceptual approval to the
Crestline Area Neighborhood Association's gift of development funding for
Veterans Memorial Park and for the triangle at Crestline Road and Neville Street.
Proms^sed improvements for Phase I included sidewalks, wheelchair curb ramps,
paving blocks, benches, an automatic lawn irrigation system, and one tree at
Veterans Memorial Park, and a concrete mowing strip, topsoil, bermuda sod,
flowering bulbs, manual lawn irrigation system and one tree at Crestline
Triangle. Phase II provided for the purchase and installation of plant
material, and Phase III provided a memorial monument, flag pole, and lighting
for Veterans Memorial Park.
Sufficient funds are now available to do the following a portion of the
sidewalks and plaza located at the monument "Duty" at Camp Bowie and Crestline,
total automatic irrigation system for Veterans Memorial Park, and irrigation and
trees for the triangle at Crestline Road and Neville Street.
Financing
Upon adoption of the appropriation ordinance, sufficient funds will be available
in the amount of $8,090 in Special Trust Fund 72, Project No. 502113-00

Crestline Area Improvements. The expenditure will be made from Index Code
600007.
