ORDINANCE N0. / ~`
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING ALL STREETS, UTILITY EASEMENTS AND PUBLIC OPEN
SPACE EASEMENTS, LOCATED IN THE PARK GLEN ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION
OF FEE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT the portions of Arcadia Trail, Hot Springs Trail, Fort
Concho Drive and Broken Bow Drive, and all of the utility and
public open space easements (P.O".S.E 's), which are more particu-
larly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated
herein, located within Blocks 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 of
the Park Glen Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Texas, the plat
of which is located in Volume 388-216, Page 22 of the Plat
Records of Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same are vacated,
abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated
street rights-of-way, utility easements and public open space
easements is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent
owner as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.

That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so
ordained.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt an ordinance vacating all
streets, utility easements, and public open space easements (P.O.S.E.s),
located within Blocks 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24 (all located northwest
of the drainage right-of-way), Park Glen Addition, as recorded in Vol.
388-216, Page 22, P.R.T.C.T., as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
DISCUSSION•
Mr. Jim Kasson, representing The Perot Group and owner of all abutting
property, has requested that the City vacate the above described streets,
utility easements, and public open space easements (P.O.S.E.s), as shown on
the attached map and further described above.
The subject streets, utility easements, and public open space easements
(P.O.S.E.s), acquired by dedication, are not open on the ground and do not
contain any utility facilities. The subject vacation request is being made
in order to include the vacated streets, utility easements, a.nd public open
space easements (P.O.S.E.s) as part of a replat for development of this
property.
The Land Agent for the City of Fort Worth has determined that no monetary
consideration is required since this is the original owner of the platted
property.
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no
objection to this request. A satisfactory replat has been submitted.
