AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING FIVE (5) UTILITY EASEMENTS ALL LOCATED IN THE
SHADOW RUN ESTATE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS, AS MORE SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED HEREIN; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH ; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the five (5) utility easements more specifically de-
scribed in Exhibits "A" through "E" attached hereto and incorpo-
rated herein by reference for all purposes and being located
between Lots 3 and 4, 7 and 8, 9 and 10, 13 and 14, and 15 and
16, Block 1 of the Shadow Run Estate Addition to the City of Fort
Worth, the plat of said addition being recorded in Volume
388-204, Page 70 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, be
and the same are vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and
extinguished .
SECT ION 2 .
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
SECT ION 3 .
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
and effect from and after the date of its passage.

.RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt an ordinance vacating five (5)
utility easements, located i n Lot 3 and 4, 7 and 8, 9 and 10, 13 and 14, and
15 and 16, Block 1, Shadow Run Estate Addition, as recorded in Uolume
388-204, Page 70, P.R.T.C.T.
DISCUSSION
Mr. Don Rash and Eugene Hasten, owners of all abutting property has re-
quested that the City vacate the above described utility easements, as shown
on the attached map and fu rther described by field notes in Exhibits .A thru
E to the ordinance.
The subject easements, acquired by dedication, are platted but do not con-
tain any utility facilities. The subject vacation is made in order to uti-
lize the vacated easements as part of the development of the subject prop-
erty.
The Director of Real Property Management has determined that a $1.00 con-
sideration fee satisfies the City of Fort Worth's interest in this request.
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no ob-
jection to this request.
