AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE ESTIMATED RECEIPTS IN THE GENERAL FUND, FUND O1,
MISCELLANEOUS REVENUE, OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1988-89 BY
TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF $600 FROM THE SPECIAL GIFT FUND, FUND 88, PROJECT NO 050501-01,
SPECIAL GIFT CONTRIBUTIONS AND APPROPRIATING SAID $600 TO THE GENERAL FUND, FUND O1,
HOUSING AND HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT, ADMINISTRATION, ACCOUNT NO US-01-00, SAID
FUNDS TO BE USED FOR THE THIRD ANNUAL NEIGHBORHOOD CONFERENCE, PROVIDING FOR A
SEVERABILTTY CLAUSE, MAKING THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF PRIOR ORDINANCES AND
REPEALING ALL PRIOR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, PROVIDING FOR ENGROSSMENT AND
ENROLLMENT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED ]BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That in addition to those amounts allocated to the various City departments for the
Fiscal Year 1988-89 and in the Budget of the City Manager, there shall also be increased
estimated receipts in the General Fund, Fund 01., Miscellaneous Revenue, by transferring
the sum of $600 from the Special Gift Fund, Fund 88, Project No 050501-01, Special Gift
Contributions and appropriating said $600 to the General Fund, Fund O1, Housing and Human
Services Department, Administration, Account No OS-O1-00 of the General Fund, said funds
to be used for the Third Annual Neighborhood Conference
SECTION Z.
Should any portion, section or part of a section of this ordinance be declared invalid
inoperative or void for any reason by a court
of competent jurisdiction, such ,
decision
opinion or judgement shall in no
way impair the
remaining portions, sections, or ,
parts of
sections of this ordinance, which said remaining provisions shall be and remain in full
force and effect.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall be cumulative of Ordinance No 10151 and all other
ordinances and appropriations amending the same except in those instances where the
provisions of this ordinance are in direct conflict with such other ordinances and
appropriations, in which instance said conflicting provisions of said prior ordinances and
appropriations are' hereby expressly repealed.
SECTION 4
The City Secretary of the City of Fort Worth is hereby directed to engross and enroll
this ordinance by copying the caption and effective date into the minutes of the City
Council and by filing this ordinance in the ordinance records of the City of Fort Worth.
SECTION 5.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its passage, and it is so ordained.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council
1) Approve the transfer of $600 OG from the Special Gift Fund 88, Project
No 050501-01, Special Gift Contributions, to the General Fur-d O1,
Housing ar~d Human Services Department, Administration Account No
05-01-00, arrd
2) Adopt the attached supplemental appropriation ordinance increasing
appropriations to the General Fund Ol, Housing and Human Services
Administration Account No 05-01-00 by $600 00 arld increasing
estimated receipts to the General Furld O1 b•y $600 00 from the
don atiarls by the Fort Worth Credit Union, and
3) Authorize the expenditure of the above $600 00 for the Third Annual
Neighborhood Conference
DISCUSSION
On November 4 and 5, 1988, the City participated in the Third .Annual
Neighborhood Conference at the Amon G Carter, Jr Exhibit Building In
addition to the City, other cosponsors were the Fort Worth League of
Neighborhood Associations, Community Development Council, Neighborhood
Advisory Councils, arld the United Way The purpose of the corlfererlce was to
improve comlmani~.ation within and among neighborhoods and Citv government, as
well as developing crnnmuriity leadership skills
The Fort Worth Credit !Jrliorl has contributed $600 00 to help defray the cost
of the conference
FINANCING
