Discussion
Mr. Gordon Swift, Consulting Engineer, representing all abutting property
owners, has requested the City to vacate the above described streets, alleys,
and utility easements, as shown on the attached map.
The subject streets, alleys, and utility easements, acquired by dedication,
contain sewer, electric, gas and telephone utility facilities.. Arrangements
have since been made with the respective utility companies to relocate these
utility facilities, according to proposed development plans for the subject
area. The subject vacation request is made in order to replat the vacated
streets, alleys, and utility easements, to expand the building area of a
proposed redevelopment project,
The required and appropriate monetary consideration, $199,257, has been placed
in escrow with the Real Property Department as required by the Land Agent for
the City of Fort Worth.
