ORDINANCE NO./
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING 7.5 FOOT, 10 FOOT, AND 15 FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASE-
MENTS LOCATED WITHIN THE SOUTH MEADOW ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; SAID EASEMENTS BEING MORE SPECIFI-
CALLY DESCRIBED HEREIN; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING RN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT all of the 7.5 foot, 10 foot and 15 foot wide utility
easements located within Lots 1-110, of Block 19; Lots 1-5 and Lots
28-32 of Block 21; Lots 1-5 and Lots 46-52 of Block 22; Lots 1-26 of
Block 26; Lots 1-30 of Block 3U; Lots 1-12 of Block 31; and Lot 1 of
Block 35, all located within the South Meadow Addition to the City
of Fort Worth, Texas as recorded in Volume 388-209, Page 73 of the
Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same are vacated,
abandoned, and permanently closed and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or-
dained.

Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Cou ncil adopt an ordinance vacating all 5 foot,
10 foot, and 15 foot wide utility easements located within Lots 1-110, Block
19, L-ots 1-5 and Lots 28-32, 81ock 21, Lots 1-5 and Lots 46-52, Block 22; Lots
1-26~;--81ock 26, Lots 1-30, Block 30; Lots 1-12, Block 31, and Lot 1, Block 35,
Sout_h-"Meadow Addition, as recorded in Vol. 388-209, Page 73, P.R.T.C.T
Discussion
Mr. James R. Harris, Harris and Hawkins, Joint Venture III, owners of the
subject property has requested that the City vacate the above described utility
easements, as shown on the attached map.
The subject utility easements, acquired by dedication, presently contain no
uti 1 ities. The subject vacation request is made in order to repl at the
required utility easements as stipu lated by City departments and public utility
companies.
The required and appropriate monetary consideration has been paid to the Real
Property Department, as required by the Land Agent for the City of Fort Worth.
Reviewing City departments and private utilities have raised no objections to
this vacation request subject to the vacated utility easements being
replatted. A satisfactory replat h as been submitted.
