feet more or less, and as more specifically described in Exhibits "A-1 'A-2' "~1-7" and "L3-1";

It is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager to:
1. Adopt an ordinance vacating Container Way, 80 feet wide by 1,425 feet Tong containing 11,644 square
feet or 4.2662 acre of land, located South of Intermodal Parkway, as recorded in Document Numbers
D208307727, D248307728, and D20818436, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas.
2. Waive City Policy {M&C G-15624} regarding valuation of street and alley transactions.
DISCUSSION:
Jacobs, on behalf of AIL Investments LP, has requested the vacation of the above referenced right-of-way
in order to pEat it into its own lot. The vacation of this right-of-way will allow access for heavy weight
vehicles from the railyard to private property. The City Plan Commission recommended approval of this
request at its meeting on February 25, 2449. An acceptable final plat {FP-07-494) has been received. Any
existing utilities wi8 be relocated at the applicant's expense, or retained within a designated easement,
along witty an appropriate plat note that no permanent structures may be constructed or placed thereon.
The above mentioned property was dedicated to the City of Fort Werth by separate instrument. It was
accepted as right-of-way in two phases, April 2408 and September 2448. The City holds fee simple title to
the property to be vacated although it was obtained at no cost. City Policy states:
