ORDINANCE NO. ~Q
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING THE UTILITY EASEMENT DESCRIBED MORE SPECIFICALLY
HEREIN, SAID UTILITY EASEMENT LYING WITHIN LOT 1, BLOCK 2R
OF THE HULEN BEND ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CON-
FLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT O RDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT THE utility easement, described more specifically in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference for
all purposes, lying within Lot 1, Block 2R, of the Hulen Bend
Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, as
recorded in Volume 3$8-203, Pages 56 and 57 of the Deed Records of
Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same is vacated, abandoned, and
permanently closed and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed .
SEC'T'ION 3.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or-
dained.

FIELD NOTES FOR
VACATION OF A PORTION OF
UTILITY EASEMENT OUT OF
LOT 1, BLOCK 2R
HULEN BEND
FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS
BEING a 15 foot wide vacation of a portion of a platted utility
easement out of Lot 1, Block 2R, Hulen Bend as shown by plat recorded
in Volume 388-203, Pages 56 and 57, Deed Records of Tarrant County,
Texas, the centerline of which is more particularly described as
follows
COMMENCING at the west corner of said Lot 1, Block 2R; Thence
N 48° 17' 14" E, 153.63 feet, along the northwest property line of said
Lot 1, and the southeast right-of-way line of Hulen Bend Boulevard, to
a point at the beginning of a curve from tahich the center of said curve
bears N 41° 42' 46" W, 2,394.92 feet; Thence northeasterly with said
curve and property Line through a central angle of 4° 36' 12" for a
distance of 192.42 feet; and Thence leaving said property line
S 46` 18' 5811 E, 15.00 feet to the point of beginning for the
centerline described;
THENCE continuing S 46° 18' S8" E, 146.00 feet to the end of said
centerline and said vacation and containing 2,190 square feet.

~TIaI+~+ is recommended that the City Council adopt an ordinance vacating a 15' wide
utility easement located in Block 2R, Lot 1, Hulen Bend Addition, as recorded
in Volume 388-203 , Page 56 and 57, D.R.T.C.T.
Discussion
Jim Davies, surve yor, representing the property owner, has requested the City
to vacate the above described utility easement as shown on the attached map.
The subject easement, acquired by dedication., is platted but contains no
utility facility. The subject vacation request is made in order to utilize the
vacated easement as part of the subject property, thus expanding the property
area.
The Director of Real Property Management has determined that a $1.00
consideration fee satisfies the City of Fort Worth's interest in this request.
Reviewing City departments and private utilities has raised no objection to
this request.
