HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 10087~- -'" ~i ORDINANCE N O ~~~~ AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE ESTIMATED RECEIPTS IN THE PARK AND RECREATION CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FUND, FUND 23 AND THE SPECIAL TRUST FUND, FUND 03 BY $1,000 AND $200, RESPECTIVELY AND INCREASING THE APPROPRIATIONS IN THESE FUNDS AND PROJECTS BY APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNTS TO THE PARK AND' RECREATION CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM, FUND 23, TANDY HILLS PARK IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT NO 041020-19 AND SPECIAL TRUST FUND, FUND 03, ZOO IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT 801000-02 FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING IMPROVEMENTS AT THESE FACILTTIES, PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILTTY CLAUSE, MAKING THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF PRIOR ORDINANCES AND REPEALING ALL PRIOR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, PROVIDING FOR ENGROSSMENT AND ENROLLMENT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. B E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1 That in addition to those amounts allocated to the various City departments for the Fiscal Year 1987-88 and in the Budget of the City Manager, there shall also be increased estimated receipts in the Park and Recreation Capital Improvement Program Fund, Fund 23 and the Special Trust Fund, Fund 03 by $1,000 and $200, respectively and increased appropriations in these funds and projects by appropriating said amounts to the Park and Recreation Capital Improvement Program, Fund 23, Tandy Hills Park Improvements, Project No 041020-19 and Special Trust Fund, Fund 03, Zoo Improvements, Project 801000-02 for the purpose of funding improvements at these facilities SECTION 2 Should any portion, section or part of a section of this ordinance be declared invalid, inoperative or void for any reason by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision, opinion or judgement shall in no way impair the remaining portions, sections, or parts of sections of this ordinance, which said remaining provisions shall be and remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3 That this ordinance shall be cumulative of Ordinance No 9926 and all other ordinances and appropriations amending the same except in those instances where the provisions of this ordinance are in direct conflict with such other ordinances and appropriations, in which instance said conflicting provisions of said prior ordinances and appropriations are hereby expressly repealed SECTION 4 The City Secretary of the City of Fort Worth is hereby directed to engross and enroll this ordinance by copying the caption and effective date into the minutes of the City Council and by filing this ordinance in the ordinance records of the City of Fort Worth. .. _ ,~ ~v ~~ ~~ ~, ; ~, SECTION 5 ' This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained. Melton for purchase and installation of signs in Tandy Hills Park; B) $200 from the Wadsworth Golf Construction Company for general improvements at the Zoo, 2) Record receipt of $1,000 into Park and Recreation CIP Fund 23, Project No. 041020-19, Index Code 085662, for Tandy Hills Park improvements, and increase estimated receipts by $1,000.00, 3) Record receipt of $200 into Special Trust Fund 03, Project No. 801000-02, Index Code 072447, for Zoo improvements, and increase estimated receipts by $200.00, and 4) Adopt a supplemental appropriation ordinance authorizing expenditure of these monies for the purposes stated. This will increase appropriation by $1,000.00 in the Park and Recreation CIP Fund 23, Project No. 041020-19, Tandy Hills Park and also increase by $200.00 appropriation in the Special Trust Fund 03, Project No. 801000-02, Zoo Improvements. Discussion Mrs. Gertrude E. Melton donated $1,000 to the Park and Recreation Department for signs for Tandy Hills Park. She is a resident of Fort Worth who lives near Tandy Hills Park. Wadsworth Golf Construction Company of Plainfield, Illinois donated $200 to the Park and Recreation Department. Wadsworth Golf Construction Company undertook a project for the Woodbine Development Corporation/Hunt Investment Corporation known as the Club at Fossil Creek. The corporation stated a desire to contribute to the improvement of life in the areas where it has worked.
