HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 10190F .. ~~ • - µ ~~ , :, ORDINANCE N0. a AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND EXTIN- GUISHING AN ALLEY RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED IN BLOCK 3, SEMINARY HILL ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, AS MORE SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED HEREIN; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the fifteen (15) foot by two hundred sixty-five (265) foot north/south alley right-of-way located between Lots 7 through 11 and Lots 12 through 16, Block 3, Seminary Hill Addition, as shown on plat recorded at Volume 310, Page 45, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished as a public alley right-of-way. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated public alley right-of-way is hereby released and shall revert to the adja- cent owner as provided by law, SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements are retained for any and all existing and prospective utilities. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. 6 ~ e_ A ~ SECTION 4. The subject vacation request is made in order to replat the vacated alley right-of-way with adjacent property for expansion of auxiliary parking for the Seminary.
