ORDINANCE NO. ~~
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF .FORT WORTH IN THE
PROPOSED EASEMENT DESCRIBED HEREIN, LOCATED IN LOT- 1,
BLOCK 305, CENT REPORT ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
T ARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CON-
FLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXASe
SECTION 1 .
That the thirty-six foot (36') wide proposed drill track ease-
ment located in Lot 1, Block 305, Area 3, Section 3, Centreport
Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, the plat
of said Addition being recorded in Volume 388/176 at Page 79, Plat
Records of Tarrant County, Texas, said proposed drill track easement
being more specifically described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference for all purposes, be and the same
is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.

SECTION 3 .
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or-
dained.

BEING a tract of land situated in the James J. Goodman Survey,
Abstract 583, and being part of that tract of land known as Lot 1 ,
Block 305, Area 3, Section 3, Centreport, an Addition to the City of
Fort Worth, as recorded in Plat Volume 388/190, Page 22, County
Records, Tarrant County, Texas {C.R.T.C.T.) and being part of
Block 305, Area 3, Section 3, Centreport, an addition to the City of
Fort Worth, as recorded in Plat Volume 388/176, Pages 79 and 80,
C.R.T.C.T. and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron rod found on the northeast corner of said
Lot 1, Block 305, Area 3, Section 3, Centreport;
THENCE South 89°27'35" East, a distance of 18.00 feet to a point for
corner;
THENCE South 0°32'25" West, 18.00 feet east of and parallel to the
east line of said Lot 1 , a distance of 927.33 feet to the point of
curvature of a circular curve to the left having a radius of 417.37
feet, whose chord bears South 30°32'45" East;
THENCE Southeasterly, along said curve, through a central angle of
62°10'21", an arc distance of 452.89 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE South 28°22'04" West, a distance of 36.00 feet to a point for
corner, said corner being on a circular curve to the right having a
radius of 453.37 feet, whose chord bears North 30°32'45" West;
THENCE Northwesterly, along said curve, through a central angle of
62°10'21°', an arc distance of 491.96 feet to the point of tangency;
THENCE North 0°32'25" East, a distance of 927.33 feet to a point for
corner in the north line of said Lot 1;
THENCE South 89°27'35" East, along the north line of said Lot 1, a
distance of 18.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing
50.391 square feet or 1.1568 acres of land more or less.

It is recommended that the City Council adopt two Ordinances vacating each of two
36' wide drill track easements located within, 1) Lot 1, Block 305, Area 3,
Section 3, Centreport Addition, as recorded in Volume 388/176, Pages 79 and 80,
P.R.T.C.T. and 2) within Lot 1, Block 306, Area 3, Section 3, Centreport
Addition, as recorded in Volume 388/i76, Pages 79 and 80, P.R.T.C.T. and Volume
388/188, Page 93, P.R.T.C.T.
DISCUSSION
Albert H. Halff Associates, In c., on behalf of abutting property owners, has
requested that the City vacate the above-described drill track easements, as
shown on the attached map.
The subject drill track easements, acquired by dedication, are platted but
contain no utility facilities. The subject vacation request is made in order t o
utilize the vacated easements as part of the subject property, thus expanding the
building area and providing more usable yard space.
The required and appropriate monetary consideration has been placed in escrow
with the Real Property f)epartment, as required by the Land Agent for the City of
Fort Worth .
Reviewir~y City departments and p rivate utility companies have raised no objection
t o this request. A satisfactory replat has been submitted.
