ORDNANCE NO,
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING BUILDING LINES ON NORTH
STREET BETWEEN PENN STREET AND MONROE STREET.' AND
PROHIBITING THE ERECTION CONSTRUCTION RECOItSTRUC-
TION OR PLACING OF ANY btILDINGS OR STRUCTURES BE-
TWEEN SAID BUILDING LINES AND PROVIDING A PENALTY
FOR THE VI OLAT ION THEREOF.
WHEREAS, it is cons. dared by the City Council of the
City of Fort Worth, that the safety, convenience and general
welfare of the public make it necessary that the erection, con-
stm ction, reconstruction or placing of any building, obstruc-
tion or structure of any kind or character be prohibited nearer
to the property line of either side of North Street between Fenn
Street and Monroe Street, than is hereafter set out.
NOW, THEREFORE;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COtTNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WCRTH:
SECTION I.
It shalt be unLaw:u1 for any perscn, fim, corpora-
tion or association of persons in the City of Fort Worth, Texas,
to build, construct, place , erect, or reconstruct any building
or structure of any kind or nature whatsoever along North Street
from Perm Street to Monroe Street, between the foi..owing describ-
ed building lines, to-wit :
1• A buil ding line nort her ly from the northerly
propert ;ine of North Street more particularly describ-
ed as f ollows:
Ten feet northerl_y from the northerly property line
of North Street from Tenn. Street to Collier Street.
Twenty feet northerly from the norther�,y property line
of North Street from Collier Street to Henderson Street.
Twedy-four feet northerly from the northerlyproperty
line of North Street from Henderson Street to Florence
Street. A straight line frau a point in the easterly
roperty line Florence Street twenty (20) feet northerly
rom the northerly property line of forth Street to i
?int in the northerly Tropert line of North Street and
hewesterly propperty 1ne of Loco Street. Wo.feet
northerly from tI� northerlyroperty line of North Street
from Maccn Street to Monroe Street.
AND
2. A building line southerly f rom t he sout herly
property line of North Street more particularly described
as follows :
Ten feet southerl from the southerly property line
of North Street from t e westerly proparty line of Penn
Street extended to a point one hundred and seventy (170)
feet easterly from the easterly property line of Ballinger
Sheet. No feet southerly from t e souther i property

erty line of Adams Street twenty- two (22) feet southerly

SECTION II.
That any per s cal, firm, corporation or as soc alt i on of
persons who shall violate any of the provisions of this ordin-
ance shall be sub j eat to a f ine not to exceed One Hundred Doi-
iars 0100.00) .

SECTION III.
That each and every day any such building, erection
or structure shall remain in violation of this ordinance shall
be deemed and constitute a separate and distinct offense.
SECTION IV.
,The holding or adjudication of any section, portion
clause or part hereof to be invalid shall not affect the vaildity
of any other section, portion, clause or part hereof but all
such sections, portions, clauses and parts hereof shall be and
remain valid,
SECTION V.
This ordinance shall become effective and shall be
in full force and effect from and after the date published as
required by law.
