DISCUSSION Chapter 22, Article VII, Division 2, "Registration", of the Code of the City of Fort Worth requires any person who operates or uses a bicycle upon any street, alley or public highway t o register said bicycle with the Fire Department prior to the operation or use of the bicycle. Currently, a bicycle may only be registered at fire stations.. If the ordinance i s amended to allow the designee of the Chief of Police t o register bicycles, there would be an increase in service to the citizens, but there would not be an increase in cost.
