Requested Closing Unneeded Members of the City Council Right-of-Way, Delphia Drive and City of Fort Worth Chapin Road Mrs. McKnight, and Gentlemen: The owner of Lot 25, Block 9, Bankhead Estates, has requested the closing of unneeded right-of-way at the northeast corner of the intersection of Delphia Drive and Chapin Road as shown on the attached plat. This request is submitted in conjunction with a proposed commercial development. The Public Works and Planning Departments have investigated this request and have determined that the requested closing would not conflict with proposed utility or street improvements. However, future planning of the general area provides for an additional 10 feet of right-of-way on the east side of Delphia Drive adjacent to this property. As consideration for the closing, the owner has executed a deed for the addi't.-ional 108 of right-of-way. It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted closing the unneeded right- of-way at the northeast corner of the irrtersection of Delphia Drive and Chapin Road.
