AN 01WINANCL CLOSING AND VACATING A PORTION OF
A SIXTY FOOT DEDICATED STORM DRAIN EASEMENT
ACROSS LOT "B" , KLIMIST ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS; AND PRO-
VIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE TO SAID LAND.
.BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described ,portion of a sixty foot
dedicated storm drain easement across Lot "B" , Klimist Addi-
tion to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, be and
the same is hereby extinguished, vacated, closed and permanently
abandoned as an easement for storm drain purposes:
All that portion of the easement dedicated
for storm drain purposes across Lot "B" , Klimist
Addition, as recorded in Vol. 2010, page 29, of
the Deed Records of Tarrant. County, Texas, de-
scribed as follows:
"Parcel (a)
Being an irregular shaped tract of land 383
feet long and 60 feet wide adjacent to the east
right-of-way line of FM Highway #731 and lying
30 feet on either side of the following described
centerline:
Beginning at a point in the east right-of-way
line of FM Highway #731, said point being S. 420
40 ' E. 52 feet from centerline station #22/19 of
FM Highway #731;
Thence S. 420 40' E. 53 feet to an angle
point to the right;
Thence S. 230 40' E. 335 feet to a point
and containing 0.534 acres of land more or less." ,
save and except that portion of the 20 foot drain-
age easement subsequently dedicated and being of
record in Vol. 388-73, page 34, of the Plat Rcords
of Tarrant County, Texas, the centerline of said
easement being located 33.5 feet south measured on
the east right-of-way line of If'N Highway #731 from
the north line of Lot "B" , Klimist. Addition, and
traversing said Lot "B" on a bearing of S. 460 50' E.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort lworth in the fee
to the land iso aid easement above described is hereby re-
leased and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as
provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are her6by repealed.
SECTION 4.
That -this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.

Walter Hayes, Attorney, representing the owner of the adjacent proper-
ty, has requested that the City vacate a storm" drain easement 60 feet
in width across Lot B, Klimist Addition, as conveyed to the Texas High-
way Department in Volume 2010, Page 29 , and as shown on the attached
map, This abandonment is not intended to vacate that portion of
drainage easement subsequently dedicated by Volume 388-73, Page 34,
which may be in conflict. The Texas Highway Department has reviewed
this request. and has no objections ; The reviewing City departments
have no objections to this request,
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends
adoption of an ordinance vacating the right-of-way as requested.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the subject
right-of-way as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
