AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE UTILITY EASEMENTS IN
LOT 6R, BLOCK 10, PHASE IZ WILLOW LAKE ADDITION2 AS
RECORDED IN VOLUME 388-99, PAGE 1, TARRANT COUNTY
DEED RECORDS, BE VACATEDZ ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PRO-
VIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND
PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE
IMMEDIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS :
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described utility easements situated
in the J. Howard Survey, Abstract No. 693, City of Fort Worth,
Tarrant County, Texas, said easements being across a portion
of Lot 6R, Block 10, Phase 1, Willow Lake Addition as recorded
in Volume 388-99, Page 1, Tarrant County Deed Records, and the
center line of said easements being more particularly described
by metes and bounds as follows :
15 ' Easement
BEGINNING at a point in the north property line of
said Lot 6R, Block 10, said point being west, 14.0
feet from the northeast corner of said lot;
THENCE South, 29 .0 feet to a point;
THENCE South 82 degrees 15 minutes West, 17 .5 feet
to the end of said easement.
50 ' Easement
BEGINNING at a point in the west property line of
said Lot 6R, Block 10, said point being south, 5 .0
feet from the northwest corner of said lot;
THENCE East, 5.0 feet to the point of beginning;
THENCE East, 10.0 feet to a point;
THENCE South 45 degrees West, 14.14 feet to a point;
THENCE North 10.0 feet to the Point of Beginning and
containing 50 S .F. of land, more or less .
be and the same are hereby extinguished, vacated, closed and
permanently abandoned as easements for public utilities .
SECTION 2 .
That the fee to the land in the above described easements
is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent owners as
provided by law, save and except that easements are reserved
for any and all existing utilities .
SECTION 3.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage and
it is so ordained.

DATE REFERENCE SUBJECT: Easements Vacation in Lot 6R, PAGE
R LAK2/16/76 NUM-719 Block 10, Willow Lake Addition (V-75-40A f or 1
Equitable Savings Association, owner of all abutting property, has
requested that the City vacate two utility easements located on
Lot 6R, Block 10, Willow Lake Addition, as shown on the attached
map.
One of the subject easements, acquired by dedication, is in use
and contains sanitary sewer facilities. The Water Department notes
that relocation of these facilities and provisions for another ease-
ment has been accomplished by the Applicant. The other easement
is not in use and contains no public facilities.
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have no
objections to this request provided a satisfactory replat of the
property is provided to City staff.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends
that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject easements as requested.
A satisfactory replat has been provided to the City staff.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject
easement rights-of-way as recommended by the City Plan Commission,
