ORDINANCE NO. ~~ ~/
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING AN EMERGENCY ACCESS AND UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED
ON LOT D, BLOCK 1, HUGULEY MEMORIAL ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, AS MORE SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED HERE-
IN; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That portions of the 2b-foot emergency access and utility ease-
ment located in Lot D, Block 1, Huguley Memorial Addition to the
City of Fort Worth, Texas, as recorded in Volume 388-209, Page 30,
of the Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, said portions hereby
vacated being more specifically described in Exhibit "A" which is
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference for all pur-
poses, be and the same are vacated, abandoned and permanently closed
and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or-
dained.

DESCRIPTION OF EASEMENT
~HEING an existing 26.0 Emergency Access and Utility Easement
situated on Lot D, Block 1, HUGULEY MEMORIAL ADDITION to the City
of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas according to the plat
recorded in Volume 388-209, Page 30, Plat Records of Tarrant
County, Texas, and being more particularly described as followse
BEGINNING at an iron rod being the existing northwest corner of
said Lot D, said iron rod also being in the existing south line
of Lot C, Hlock 1, Huguley Memorial Addition according to the
plat recorded in Volume 388-169, Page 26, P.R.T.C.T., Thence,
South 89 degrees 45 minutes ib seconds East, 107.93 feet to the
POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE, South 89 degrees 45 minutes lb seconds East, along the
existing south line of said Lot C, 585.35 feet to a point
for corner;
THENCE, South 00 degrees 01 minutes 45 seconds West, 26.00 feet
to a point for corner;
THENCE, North 89 degrees 45 minutes ib seconds West, 84.00 feet
to a point;
THENCE, South 00 degrees 14 minutes 44 seconds West, 10.00 feet

minutes ib seconds East, 30.98 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE, North 02 degrees 10 minutes 14 seconds West, along the
east line of an existing 26.0 foot Emergency Access and
Utility Easement, 26.02 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE, South 89 degrees 45 minutes 16 seconds East, 562.38 feet
to a point for corner;

easement situated along the north property line of Lot E, Block 1, Huguley
Memorial Addition, all as recorded in Volume 388-209, Page 30, P.R.T C T and
a portion (827.54' section) of a 10' wide utility easement along the south
property line of Lot C, Block 1 (adjacent to the north property line of Lot D,
Block 1, Huguley Memorial Addition) Huguley Memorial Addition, as recorded in
Volume 388-169, Page 26, P.R T C T

Max Trevino, Vice-President, on behalf of the Southwestern Union Conference
Corporation for the 7th Day Adventists, owners of abutting property, has
requested that the City vacate the above described easements, as shown on the
attached map
The subject easements, acquired by dedication, are platted and contain water
utility facilities. The subject vacation request is made in order to replat
the vacated easements with adjacent property, to expand the building area, and
provide more usable yard space
The required and appropriate monetary consideration fee of $1.00 has been paid
to the Real Property Department, as required by the Land Agent for the City of
Fort Worth
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no
objections to this request, subject to the vacated easements being replatted
with adjacent property, and replacement easements are included on the replat.
A satisfactory replat has been submitted APPROVED OY
