BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THAT THE portions of certain utility and access easements lying and being situated in Hampton Place Addition to the City of Fort Worth, said portions hereby vacated and abandoned being described more specifically in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference for all purposes, be and the same are vacated, abandoned, and permanently closed and extinguished. SECT ION 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 3 . That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or- dained. DISCUSSION: Gerry Curtis, on behalf of Sid Whitener, owner of all abutting property, has requested that the City vacate the above described easements as shown on the attached map. The subject easements, acquired by dedication, are platted, but contain no utility facilities. The subject vacation request is made in order to replat the vacated easements with adjacent property, to expand the building area, and provide more usable yard space. The required and appropriate monetary consideration has been placed in escrow with the Real Property Department, as required by the Land Agent for the City of Fort Worth. Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no objec- tions to this request, subject to the vacated easements being replatted with adjacent property.
