Recommendation
It is recommended the City Council adopt the attached Supplemental Appropriation
Ordinance appropriating 5400,000 increased expenditures in various divisional
accounts of the Golf Division Fund 39.
Background
The projected increases to the Golf Fund exceed the expenditure allocation in
the adopted 1985-86 budget. These additional revenues are the result of the
approved fee increase of July 30, 1985, M&C G-6387 (see attachment A and 6).
Increased revenues are also anticipated from the opening of a sandwich shop at
Pecan Valley Golf Course. The proposed additional appropriation will be
expended as follows:
1. Pecan Valley sandwich shop remodeling $ 67,000
2. Pecan Valley sandwich shop expenses 75,500
(equipment, paper supplies, food purchases, labor)
3. Pecan Valley water/sewage 40,000
4. Pecan Yalley fencing 10,000
5. Meadowbrook Lake (dredging) 50,000
6. Meadowbrook Pro Shop (a/c-heating) 10,000
7. Rockwood Cart Barn (electrical) 15,000
8. Irrigation Personrel (6 mos.) 42,500
(5 A.P. positions)
9. Equipment (vehicular) 38,000
10. Cart Trails (4400 linear feet) 52 000
