ORDINANCE NO. ~(~^
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING THE EMERGENCY ACCESS AND UTILITY EASEMENTS LYING
IN, ON, AND OVER THAT PROPERTY KNOWN AS EAGLE MOUNTAIN
LAKE ESTATES AND DESCRIBED MORE SPECIFICALLY HEREIN;
PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND(S); REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT THE emergency access and utility easements lying in, on,
and over that property known as Eagle Mountain Lake Estates Sub-
division as platted in Volume 388, Page 85 of the records of Tarrant
County, Texas, said easements being described more specifically in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference for
all purposes be and the same are vacated, abandoned, and permanently
closed and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or-
dained.

Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Council adopt an ordinance vacating emergency ac-
cess and utility easements known as Comanis Circle, St. Andrews Circle, and a
portion of Fairway Drive, located adjacent to Lots 12-99 and portions of Lot 198
(common area), Block 1, Eayle P1ountain Lake Estates, and two 10' x 90' east/west
utility easements located adjacent to and between Lots 21 & 22 and Lots 40 & 41,
Block 1, Eayle Plountain Lake Estates, all as recorded in Volume 388-85, Pages 22
& 23, P.R.T.C.T.
Discussion
Troy K. Carlisle and James N. Summers, owners of abutting property, and on behalf
of all other pvvnersof abutting property, have requested that the City vacate the
above described easements, as shown on the attached map.
The subject easements, acquired by dedication, are platted but contain no utility
facilities. The subject vacation request is made in order to replat the vacated
easements with adjacent property, to expand the building area, and provide more
usable yard space.
The required and appropriate monetary consideration has been placed in escrow
with the Real Property Department, as required by the Land Agent for the City of
Fort Worth.
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no objec-
tions to this request, subject to the vacated easements being replatted with ad-
jacent property. A satisfactory replat has been submitted.
