ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING A TWELVE FOOT EAST-WEST ALLEY IN BLOCK 12 AND A TWELVE FOOT NORTH-SOUTH ALLEY ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF BLOCKS 12 AND 14, ALL IN LAKEVIEW ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY., TEXAS, BE ABANDONED, VACATED AND CLOSED; AND PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE TO SAID LAND. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the following described alleys in Blocks 12 and 14, Lakeview Ad- dition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same are hereby vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as alleys or public thoroughfares of any kind or character whatever: A 12-foot east-west alley in Block 12, Lakeview Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, from the west line of Lot 5 to the west line of South Riverside Drive; and A 12-foot north-south alley along the west side of Blocks 12 and 14, Lakeview Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tar- rant County, Texas, -from the north line of Maddox Avenue to the south line of East Morphy Street. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in said alleys above described is hereby re- leased and will revert to the owners as provided by law, save and except that easements are reserved for any or all existing utilities, including a 15-foot easement for the existing sanitary sewer main and a 15-foot easement for the existing storm drain running across the north-south alley along the west side of Blocks 12 and 14 and a portion of Lots 2 and 3. Block 14, Lake- view Addition. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are here- by repealed. SECTION 4. The purpose of this request Is to permit cohstuc= tion of additional improvements by Mrs. ©elton's Best Maid Products, Incorporated. The Public Works Department has investigated the request and has found an existing sanitary sewer main and storm drain across thr north-south alley which will require the reservation of easements. No other objections have been found regarding the closing. Due to commertidl d0owlepment of the adjacent property, the alleys are no longer of use to the public. The alleys requested to be closed are as follows: A 12-.hoot east-west alley in Block 12, Lakeview Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, from the west line of Lot 5 to the west line of South Riverside Drive, saves and except easement be reserved for any or all existing utilities. A 12-foot north south alley along the west side of Blocks 12 and 14, Lakeview A4di-tion to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, from the north line of Maddox Ave. to the south line of East Morphy St., save and except easements be reserved for any or all existing utilities, including a 15-foot easement for the existing sanitary sewer main and a 15-foot easement for the existing storm drain. Railway (also known as the Missouri Pacific Railway) right of xray, and between the right of way and Lots 1 through 9 in Block 1E, Lakeview Addition, and Lots 1 through 4 in Block 149 Lakeview Addition, and that the ownership of this property s►zall revert to the Mrs. Daltons Best Maid Products, Inc. Also, that the portion of this same alley, which lies between the I. & G. N.
