ABANDONED, VACATED MSD CLOSED. -
vMERZ ' , it appears that by plats recorded on Pages 40 to 44
inclusive, and on Page 71 of the plat records, Volume 63, of the
plat records of Tarrant County, Texas, and by an instrument
recorded on Pages 347 and 348, Book 198, Deed Records of Tarrant
Gounty, Texas, an attempt was made to dedicate to the use of
the public streets, alleys, avenues and boulevards upon the
tracts of land hereafter described, now owned by Lnderson Berney
Realty Coinpany; and,
-XI rte, it appears that for a period of thirty-eight (38)
years such attempted dedications have never been accepted and
such thoroughfares have never been opened, a greater portion of
said land being hilly and cut with deep ravines and valleys;
and,
1WHEREA3, it appears that said streets, alleys, avenues and
boulevards, as attemi-oted to be platted, are practically impassable
for all kinds of traffic and could not be opened and maintained
in a passable condition without the expenditure of large sums of
money and that if thoroughfares should be opened throughout the
hereafter described tracts of land, great economies could be
effected by replatting and relocating all thoroughfares thereon
so that streets, alleys, avenues and boulevards could be laid out
and maintained with approved engineering grades according to the
natural topography of the land..
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF 'T
CITY OF FORT tWORTL: -
