BE IT MAIIED BY THE CITY COMTCIL OF TRE CITY OF FORT UMTH:
SECTION I.
That Axticle 6, Section 26 of the Revised Traffic Code of
the City of Fort Worth and being Ordinance #1692 be amended and ex-
tended to restrict parking on certain portions of North Main Street
and Exchange Avenue in the City of Fort Worth,- Texas, and after such
amendment and extension the following provisions shall be described
as subsection (f) , Section 26 of Article 6 of said ordinance:
(f) It shall be unlawful for the driver or owner of any
vehicle to park said vehicle or permit the same to be parked,
stand or remain fcr a period in excess of two hours on any por-
tion of the streets and within the limits hereinafter designated,
where parking of vehicles is pe=itted under the term of this
ordinance; and such time limit shall apply between the hours of
eight a* me and six-thirty p. m., except on Sunday:
(1) North Main Street from the north line of New Street
to the south line of Twenty-fifth Street.
(2) Exchange Avenue from the east line of North Main
Street to the alley, running north and south, being two
hundred eighty-one (281) feet east on said street.
(3) That head-in parking on the portion of Exchange
Avenue, described in the preceding subsection, is hereby
prohibited.
SECTION II.
Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of
this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon con-
viction thereof shall be punished by a fine not exceeding 0100.00.
SECTION III.
All ordinances insofar as the same or portions of the same
shall be in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict.
SECTION IV.
This ordinance is hereby declared to be cumulative of all
other ordinances regulating traffic upon the streets of the City of
Fort Worth', except where the same are in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance.
SECTION V.
Should any section or part of section of this ordinance be
declared to be invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, such
decision or judgment shall not affect the remaining sections or parts
of sections of this ordinance which shall continue to be in full force
and effect.
SECTION VIo
This ordinance shall become effective as to all streets and
portions of streets herein provided from and after its passage and
five days publication as provided by law.
