HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 2713 r Ap i ORDINANCE KOO AN ORDINANCE REFERRING BIDS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF A PORTION OF WEST T3NTH STREET IDT THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TERAS, TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR A REPORT THERECN. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Bids for the construction of improvements on West Tenth Street, from the easterly line of Penn Street to the westerly line of Cherry Street, save and except the intersection of Henderson Street, in the City of Fort Worth, Texas, having on the fifteenth day of September, 1949, been opened and read and the following persons had filed Bids for the performance of such work or part thereof, to—wit: Brown & Root, Inc., Fort Worth, Texas Worth Construction Co., Fort Worth, Texas Texas Bitulithic Co., Fort Worth, Texas General Construction Co., Fort Worth, Texas that such Bids be and the same are hereby referred to the Department of Public Works, which is directed to cause to be promptly filed with the City Council, a report and recommendation thereon. SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage.
