AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND ANNEXING CER-
TAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH; PRO-
VIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN A DAILY NEWSPAPER
PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF
SECTION 40, CHAPTER XXVIII OF THE CITY CHARTER; AND PRESCRIB-
ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City
of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and
made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being situated
in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at a point in the present City of Fort Worth
city limit line in the north line of Lot 9, Block 17, View
Park Addition, said point being north 80 degrees 40 minutes.
east 49 feet from its most westerly northwest corner;
Thence north 10 degrees 49 minutes east 161.6 feet to a
point in the southerly line of the Southeast Loop as estab-
lished by the State Highway Department;
Thence north 7$ degrees 09 minutes east along the southerly
line of the Southeast Loop a distance of 250.2 feet;
Thence south 68 degrees 58 minutes east along the southerly
line of the Southeast Loop a distance of 81 feet to a point
in the westerly line of Oak Grove Road, said point being 40
feet westerly from its center line;
Thence south 33 degrees 06 minutes east along the westerly
line of Oak Grove Road parallel to and 40 feet westerly from
the center line of said road a distance of approximately 141
feet to a point in the present City of Fort Worth city limit
line;
Thence south 79 degrees 30 minutes west along the present
city limit line a distance of approximately 430 feet to the
place of beginning, and containing approximately one and thirty-
five hundredths (1.35) acres.
SECTION 2.
That this ordinance shall be published one time in The Fort Worth
Press, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance
with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XXVIII of the City Charter.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and
effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty
(30) days from the date of its publication as aforesaid, and it is so or-
dained.
