AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH; PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN A DAILY NEWS- PAPER PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRO- VISIONS OF SECTION 40, CHAPTER XXVIII OF THE CITY CHARTER; AND PRESCRIBING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds as follows: Beginning at a point in the present city limit line 1305.2 feet north and 2354.2 feet east of the southwest corner of the Abner Rhoades Survey; Thence with said city line south 0 degrees 08 minutes east 1546 feet to a point on the north right of way of a 75 foot Texas Electric Service Company right of way; Thence with said north line of said right of way north 83 degrees 32 minutes west 2811 feet to a point in the easterly right of way of the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad; Thence with easterly right of way of said Missouri-Kansas- Texas Railroad north 16 degrees 28 minutes east 1643 feet to the intersection of the west line of the Abner Rhoades Survey; Thence with said west line of the Abner Rhoades Survey south 0 degrees 22 minutes east 327.4 feet to a point; Thence south 89 degrees 52 minutes east 2354.2 feet to the place of beginning and containing 87 acres, more or less. SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall be published one time in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in ac- cordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XXVIII of the City Charter. SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty (30) days from the date of its publication as aforesaid, and it is so ordained.
