,
Account No. 88-036-005-04, to the General Fund be made, thereby decreasing
estimated revenues and appropriations in the Special Gifts Fund, Account No.
~-' 88-036-055-04,
2) It is recommended that the attached supplemental appropriation ordinance be
approved increasing appropriations in the General Fund (Fire Department)
Account No. 01-36-U8-00, Index Code No. 279018, and increasing estimated
receipts by $1,640.
3) It is recommended that approval be granted for the expenditure of $1,640 from
the Citizen's Donated Fund for use in purchase of video equipment.
Background

Department Donation Fund for purchase of video equipment. These funds were
donated specifically for video equipment to enhance current educational
capability and to complement existing equipment. These funds were deposited in
the Special Gifts Fund No. 88.
Video training aids and equipment are becoming increasingly important in fire
training. Also, additional traininy programs can be presented through fire
companies in-service training programs.

Sufficient funds for the purchase of video equipment are available in the Special
Gifts Fund, Account No. 88-036-005-04, Index Code No. 012138, "Citizen Gifts to
Fire Department - Video Equipment." A transfer to Fire Department's Account No.
01-36-80-U0, Index Code No. 279018 is necessary. A supplemental appropriation is
