ORDINANCE N0. ~~
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING A PORTION OF A 26-FOOT WIDE EMERGENCY ACCESS AND
UTILITY EASEMENT, TWO 20-FOOT BY 20-FOOT PUBLIC OPEN SPACE
EASEMENTS, AND TWO 10-FOOT BY 10-FOOT UTILITY EASEMENTS
LOCATED IN LOT 1-A, BLOCK 2, COTTONWOOD VILLAGE ADDITION;
PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LANDS; REPEALING
ALL ,ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS;
SECTION 1.
THAT the following easements located in Lot 1-A, Block 2,
Cottonwood Village Addition, be and the same are vacated, abandoned
and permanently closed and extinguished as easements for their re-
spective purposes:
A. A portion of the 26-foot wide emergency access and
utility easement (Hornaday Circle), from Randol Mill
Road east to Hornaday Circle North/Hornaday Circle
South, said portion being more particularly described
as a portion of Parcel 1 in Exhibit "A", attached
hereto and incorporated herein; and
B. The two 20-foot by 20-foot public open space ease-
ments located adjacent to the aforesaid vacated emer-
gency access and utility easement, said public open
space easements being more particularly described as
a portion of Parcel 1 in Exhibit "A", attached hereto
and incorporated herein; and
C. The 10-foot by 10-foot utility easement adjacent to
the aforementioned portion of emergency access and
utility easement vacated herein, said utility ease-
ment being more particularly described as a portion
of Parcel 1 in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and in-
corporated herein; and
D. The 10-foot by 10-foot utility easement lying near
the southwesterly line of said Lot 1-A, Block 2,
Cottonwood Village, and the northwesterly line of
Cottonwood Village Drive, said utility easement being
more particularly described as Parcel 2 in
Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein.
SECTION 2.
That tYe fee to the lands in the above described vacated ease-
ments is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owners as
provided by law.

SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or-
dained.

BEGINNING at the southerly corner of a Public Open Space Easement, said point being in the
southwesterly line of said Lot 1-A and the northeasterly line of Randol Mill Road, and being
193.52 feet northwesterly along said northeasterly and southwesterly lines from the south-
corner of said Lot 1-A and the south corner of said Block 2, at the point of intersection
of said northeasterly line of Randol.Mi11 Road with the northwesterly line of Cottonwood
Village Drive, and said point of beginning lying on a curve whose center bears South 44
degrees, 19 minutes, 50 seconds West, 4072.78 feet,

t is the opinion of the Real Property Department that the intere4t of the City

eviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no
b~ections to the vacation of the above-described easements, provided the
acated easements are reniatted with adjacent property, and necessary drainage
nd utility easements hays been retained in the req~~ired ranlat for any
xisting ~itility facilities. A satisfactory ranlat has been submitted.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this rea»P~st and recommends that the
subject easements be vacated as requested.
