IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXASa DECLARING THE CONTRACT WITH
Brown & Blakney, Inc. FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
SAID IMPROVEMENTS FULLY COMPLETED AND PERFORMEDe DIRECTING THE
ISSUANCE, EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE OF
SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS LEVIED AFTER GIVING EFFECT TO SUNDRY CREDITS
HEREIN AUTHORIZED AND ALLOWED AGAINST SOME OF SAID ASSESSMENTS;
DIRECTING THE CITY SECRETARY TO ENGROSS AND ENROLL THIS ORDDINANCE
BY COPYING THE CAPTION OF SAME IN THE MINUTE BOOR OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF FORT WOR°d"H, TEXAS, AND BY FILING THE COMPLETE ORDINANCE
IN APPROPRIATE ORDINANCE RECORDS OF SAYD CITYg AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.:
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth, Teaeas, has heretofore entered into a contract
with __ Brown & Blaknev. In`c~.~ a for the mateing and construction of
certain street improvements on~the hereinafter described portions of streets, avenues and

PROJECT N0. 029-036-533, UNIT I, BRIDGE STREET FROM WEST PROPERTY
LINE OF LOT I, fiLOCK A, BOAZ TURNPIKE ADDITION TO OAKLAND HILLS_DRIVE,
to be improved with seven-inch thick concrete pavement with seven-inch
high superimposed concrete curb on a six-inch thick lime stabilized sub-
grade,. so that the finished roadway will be forty-four feet wide. Seven-
inch thick concrete driveway approaches and turn lanes will be constructed
where specified.
PROJECT N0. 029-036-533, UNIT I-A, BRIDGE STREET FROM OAKLAND HILLS DRIVE
TO BRIDGEWOOD DRIVE, to be improved with seven-inch thick concrete pavement
with seven-inch high superimposed curb on a six-inch thick lime stabilized
subgrade, so that the finished roadway will be sixty feet wide. seven-inch
thick concrete driveway approaches and turn lanes will be constructed
where specified.
PROJECT N0. 029-036-533, UNIT I-B, BRIDGE STREET FROM BRIDGEWOOD DRIVE TO
WEST SERVICE ROAD - I - 820, to be improved with seven-inch thick concrete
pavement with seven-inch high superimposed concrete curb on a six-inch
thick lime stabilized subgrade, so that the finished roadway will consist
of two thirty-six feet wide traffic lanes with a twenty-eight feet wide
median. Seven-inch thick concrete turn lanes will be constructed where
specified.
PROJECT NO.. 029-036-533, UNIT II, BRIDGEWOOD DRIVE FROM BRIDGE STREET SOUTH
1085 FEET, to be improved with seven-inch thick concrete pavement with seven-
inch high superimposed concrete curb on a six-inch thick. lime stabilized sub-
grade, so that the finished roadway will be sixty feet wide. Seven-inch thick
concrete turn lanes will be constructed where specified.
WHEREAS, by sundry proceedings heretofore passed by the City Council of the
City of Fort YJorth, Texas, including Ordinance No, 8770 , a portion of the cost of
said improvements was levied and assessed against the respective properties abutting
on each of the abova described portions of streets, avenues and public places and against
the real and true owners thereof; and,
wHEf~AS, the City Council of the Oity of Fort ~'~orth, Texas, has, upon review,
found and determined that, in some instances, in order to effect substantial justice
and equality, it is desirable and necessary to grant and issue certain credits against
some one or more of the assessments levied by Ordinance No, .8770 , as
amended by Ordinance No. 9022, and
WHEktEAS, the street improvements hereinabove mentioned have been completed
upon each of the portions of streets, avenues and public places hereinabove described,
and have been inspected and found to be in complete accordance Vrith the contract therefor;

The improvements on each of the portions of streets, avenues and public
places hereinabove described be, and they are hereby, accepted; and the contract with
reference thereto be, and it is hereby, found and declared fully completed and perfonrned.

The Mayor, be, and he is hereby, directed to issue and execute in the name
of the City, certificates in evidence of the special assessments levied against abutting
property and the owner thereof for such improvements, and the City Secretary is directed
to attest same and impress thereon the corporate seal of the City, all in accordance Frith
the proceedings relating to such improvements and assessmentse The certificates shall be
numbered, shall describe the property against which the assessment has been levied, shall,
where known, state the name or names of the true owners of the respective parcels of pro-
perty assessed and shall be issued in an amount equal to the difference between the
principal amount of the assessment and the amounts of any credit issued thereon. The
numbers of the certificates, with the property descriptions to be shown on the respective
certificates, together with the names of the owners of said property, the principal amount
of the assessment, the respective credits, if any which are hereby authorized, granted and
allowed against the principal amount of some one or more of the assessments heretofore
levied, and the principal amount for which each certificate is to be issued after diving
effect to such credit, if arty, are hereby enumerated and itemized as follows:

When each of the certificates has been duly executed as hereinabove providedm
same shall be delivered to the Tax Assessor-Collector as part payment of the contract
prices
IV.
The City Secretary is hereby directed to engross and enroll this ordinance by
copying the caption of same in the Minute Book of the City Council of Fort Worths `Texasb
and by filing the complete ordia~nce in the appropriate Ordinance Records of said City.
V.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its passages PL-
