FOR Tll~lE CONSTRUCTION Of' SAID IMPROVEMENTS FULLY COMPLETED AND PERFORMEDg DIRECTING TIIE ISSUANCE, EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS LEVIED AFTER GYVING EFF73CT TO SUNDRY CREDITS HEREIN AUTHORIZED AND ALLOWED AGAYNST SOME OF SAID ASSESSMENTS; DIRECTING Tl~ CITY SECRETARY TO ENGROSS AND ENROLL THIS ORDINANCE BY COPYING THE CAPTION OF SAME IN THE MINUTE 1$OOI~ OF TIC CITY COUNCIL OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, AND 1$Y FILING THL COMPLETE ORDINANCE IN APPROPRIATE ORDINANCE RECORDS OF SAID CITYg AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth, Texas, has heretofore entered into a contract wrath SRO Asphalt, Inc. , for the malting and construction of certain street improvements on the hereinafter described portions of streets, arrenues and public places in said City, tom{~it: RODEO STREET From Old Mansfield Road to Wichita Street., known and designated as Project No 030-025262-00, a seven-inch thick hot-mix asphaltic concrete pavement on a six-inch thick lime stabilized gravel base, with seven-inch high concrete curb and eighteen-inch wide concrete gutter, so that the finished roadway will be twenty-eight feet wide. Six-inch thi-ck concrete driveway approaches will be constructed where specified. 6vHENEAS, by sundry proceedings heretofore passed by the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, including Ordinance No. ~_, a portion of the cost of said improvements was levied and assessed against the respective properties abutting on each of the above. described portions of streets, avenues and public places and against the real and true owners thereof; and, 'vuHEti:EA~, the City Council of the City of Fort ~"Yorth, Texas, has, upon review, found and determined that, in some instances, in order to effect substantial justice and equality, it is desirable and necessary to grant and issue certain credits against some one or more of the assessments levied by Ordinance No. 9039 , and WHEIi:~:A3, the street improvements hereinabove mentioned have been completed upon each of the portions of streets, avenues and public places hereinabove described, and have been inspected and found to be in complete accordance with the contract therefor; NOW', TtIEI~FORE, BE IN OI3DAIIJ~;D I3Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, 'PEXAi, THAT I. The improvements on each of the portions of streets, avenues and publio places hereinabove described be, and they are hereby, accepted; and the contract with reference thereto be, and it is hereby, found and declared fully completed and perfoxmied. II. The Mayor, be, and he is hereby, directed to issue and execute in the name of the City, certificates in evidence of the special assessments levied against abutting property and the owner thereof for such improvements, and the City Secretary is directed to attest same and impress thereon the corporate seal of the City, all in accordance Frith the proceedings relating to such improvements and assessments, The certificates shall be numbered, shall describe the property against which the assessment has been levied, shall, where known, state the name or names of the true owners of the respective parcels of pro- perty assessed and shall be issued in an amount equal to the difference between the principal amount of the assessment and the amounts of any credit issued thereon. The numbers of the certificates, with the property descriptions to be shown on the respective certificates, together with the names of the owners of said property, the principal amount of the assessment, the respective credits, if any which are hereby authorized, granted and allowed against the principal amount of some one or more of the assessments heretofore levied, and the principal amount for which each certificate is to be issued after giving effect to such credit, if any, are hereby enumerated and itemized as follows: ^S'~. ~ _ Iw N }}~ _ ,r +Yr~ _ L^y + -. r. ~~` E:. The City Secretary is hereby directed to engross and enroll this ordinance by copying the caption of same in the Minute Book of the City Council of Fort Worth, Texas', and by filing the complete ordinance in the appropriate Ordinance Records of said Citye V.
