HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 9320~~; ~` .t ,~~: ORDINANCE N0. _e~~~ AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROM THE SPECIAL GIFT FUND 88 THE SUM OF $15,000, WHICH AMOUNT WILL BE TRANSFERRED TO FUND 76, GRANTS; INCREASING THE ESTIMATED RECEIPTS AND APPROPRIATIONS IN FUND 76 TO ALLOW FOR THE ANTICIPATED RECEIPT OF AN ADDITIONAL $15,000, FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING AN EMERGENCY FOOD VOUCHER PROGRAM; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; MAKING THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF PRIOR ORDINANCES AND REPEALING ALL PRIOR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR ENGROSSMENT AND ENROLL- MENT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That in addition to those amounts allocated to the various City departments and programs for the Fiscal Year 1984-1985 in Ordinance No. 9168 and in the Budget of the City Manager, there shall also be appropriated from the Special Gift Fund 88, Project No. 050501-00, the sum of $15,000, such amount to be transferred to Fund 76, and an increase in the estimated receipts and appropriations in Fund 88 and in Fund 76, to allow for the anticipated receipt of an additional $15,000, for the purpose of funding an emergency food voucher program. SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be cumulative of all provisions of ordinances and of the Code of the City of Fort Worth, Texas (1964), as amended, except where the provisions of this ordinance are in direct conflict with the provisions of such ordinances and such Code, in which event conflicting .provisions of such ordinances and such Code are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. It is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council that the sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses and phrases of this ordinance are severable, and if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or section of this ordinance shall be declared unconstitu- tional by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, such unconstitutionality shall not affect any of the remaining phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs and sections of 4 R i '~?..'~ ,r ~i this ordinance, since the same would have been enacted by the City Council without the incorporation in this ordinance of any such unconstitutional phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or section. SECTION 4. The City Secretary of the City of Fort Worth is hereby directed to engross and enroll this ordinance by copying the caption and Section 1 in the minutes of the City Council and by filing this ordinance in the ordinance records of the City.
