AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING ReROVE1,1ENTS ON
A PORTION OF TILLAR STREET AND VACEK
STREET IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS
WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth, Texas, has heretofore entered into a
contract with Texas Bitulithic Company for the making and construction
of certain street improvements on a portion of Tillar Street and Vecek
Street in said City, to-wit
1. Tillar Street from Foch Street to Vecek Street
known and designated as Unit l;
2. Vacek Street from White Settlement Road to
. Cullen Street known and designated
as Unit 2;
and
1=7REAS, such improvements have been completed upon said portion of
Tillar Street and Vacek Street and have been inspected and found to be
in complete accordance with the contract.
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT T:ToRTFI, TEXAS,
That the improvements on said portion of streets be and are hereby
accepted; and that the contract with reference to the construction of
such improvements be, and is hereby, found and declared fully completed
and performed;
That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after
its passage.

Honorable Mayor and Re: Tillar Street paving from Foch
Members of the City Council Street to Vacek Street and
City of Fort Worth Vacek Street paving from White
Settlement Road to Cullen St.
Project 94-B4-2 (84-B2-200)
Mrs. McKnight and Gentlemen:
The City Council on March 6, 1959, awarded contract No. 4029 for the con-
struction of Tillar Street paving from Foch Street to Vacek Street, and
Vacek Street paving from White Settlement Road to Cullen Street, to Texas
Bitulithic Company on their low bid of $47,110.00 on an assessment basis.
The contractor has completed the construction in accordance with the plans
and specifications at a final contract cost of $43,344.65 with the pro-
perty owners portion being $32,673.86 and the City's portion being
$10,670.79.
It is recommended that the ordinance accepting the improvements be adopted
and estimate No. 4 and final in the amount of $722.55 be approved for pay-
ment. Sufficient funds are available.
