AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING THE 15.44 FOOT BY 261.03 FOOT EAST/WEST UTILITY
EASEMENT LOCATED IN BLOCK 31-A, MARQUETTE PLACE ADDITION;
PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH 'AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY O,F FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT THE 15.44 foot by 261.03 foot east/west utility easement
located in Block 31-A, Marquette Place Addition, said easement being

more particularly described in Exhibit "A", attached (hereto and
incorporated herein, be and the same is vacated, aba'`doned, and
permanently closed and extinguished as a public utility easement.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated public
utility easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent
owner as provided by law. ~ ~ ~

SECTION 3. `' ~ ~'
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed. ~
` SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or-
dained.

It is the opinion of the Real Property Department that the ;rights and inter-est of

Reviewing City Departments and private utility companies have raised no
objections to this request.
Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Council adopt an ordinance vacating the east/west
15.44' x 261.03' utility easement located in Block 31-A, Marquette Place
