The owner of Lot 1, Block 20, Western Hills Addition, Section No. 3; E. E.
Cloer Contractor, Inc; has requested that the five foot wide utility easement
paralleling a northwesterly line of Lot 1 be reduced to four feet in width.
A house constructed on this lot extends into the utility easement. The title
cannot be cleared until the easement line change is approved. A plat is
attached showing location of the requested easement closing.
The private utility companies and the Public Works, Water, Traffic and Planning
Departments of the City do not object to reducing the width of the easement
by one foot.
The City Plan Commission, on October 2, 1963, reviewed the request and recom-
mended reducing the easement as requested.
