ORDINANCE N0. ~~~ AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING A PORTION OF THE 1500 BLOCK OF T.,OUISE STREET AND A PORTION OF THE 1500 BLOCK OF ROSSER STREET; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LANDS; RETAINING UTILITY EASEMENTS IN SAID LANDS FOR ANY AND ALL EXISTING AND PROSPECTIVE UTILITIES; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THAT the following be and the same are vacated, abandoned and permanently closed as public street rights-of--way: A. A portion of the 1500 block of Louise Street, as de- scribed by metes and bounds in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein; and B. A portion of the 1500 block of Rosser Street, as de- scribed by metes and bounds in Exhibit "B", attached hereto and incorporated herein. SECTION 2. That the fee to the lands in the above described vacated public street rights-of-way is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owners as provided by law, SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements are retained for any and all existing and prospective utilities. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or- dained. The subject street rights-~f~way, acquired by dedication, are open on the ground and contain sewer and electric utility facilities. The subject vacation request is made in order to replat the vacated rights-of-sway with adjacent property, thus expanding the building area and providing r~.xiore usable yard space. The necessary and appropriate l~netary consideration has been placed in escrow ith the Real Property Department of. the City. Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no ~~Y~jeo- tions to this request provided the vacated right-of-~a.y is replatted with adja- cent property and the necessary utility easements retai-iie<3 fc~r existing utili- ties.
