ORDINANCE NO. 9oa ~
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING A PORTION OF
THE 9000 BLOCK OF RANDOL MILL ROAD; PROVIDING THAT SAID
PORTION OF RANDOL MILL ROAD IS RETAINED AS A UTILITY EASE-
MENT; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEAL-
ING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT a portion of the 9000 block of Randol Mill Road, said por-
tion being more particularly described in Exhibit "A", attached
hereto and incorporated herein, be and the same is vacated, aban-
doned and permanently closed and extinguished as a public street
right-of-way.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated public
street right-of-way is hereby released and shall revert to the
adjacent owner as provided by law, SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements
are retained for any and all existing and prospective utilities.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or-
dained.

FIELD NOTES
BEING 1,364 square feet of land. out the existing right-of-way for
Randol Mill Road being located in the JOHN SMITH SURVEY, Abstract
No 1446, City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas and more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the existing Northeast right-of-way line
of said Randol Mill Road, lying in the Southwest boundary line of
the tract of land conveyed to Houseman Properties Inc., Trustee
by the deed recorded in Volume 7544, Page 1619 of the Deed
Records of Tarrant County, Texas Lying N 69° 09' S5" W, 81.97
feet; THENCE N 58° 12' 45" W, 57.27 feet along said right-of-way
Line with said boundary line from the most Southerly Southeast
corner of said Houseman Tract;
THENCE along the said Northeast right-of-way Line of Randol Mili
Road with the said Southwest boundary line of Houseman Tract
as follows:
1. N 58° 12' 45" W, 35.75 feet to an iron rod;
2 N 43° 43' 55" W, 94 66 feet to a point in the proposed
Northeast right-of-way line of said Randol Mill Road;
THENCE along the said proposed Northeast right-of-way line of
Randol Mill Road as follows:
1. S 16° 56° 50" E, 9.88 feet to a point at the Beginning
of a Curve to the Left;
2. Southeasterly, 117.61 feet along said Curve to the Left
having a radius of 110.00 feet, a central angle of
61 ° 15 ' 26 " and a chord bearing S 4? ° 34' 33" E, 112.08
feet to a point at the End of said Curve, lying at the
Beginning of a Curve to the Right;
3. Southeasterly, 10.44 feet along said Curve to the
Right having a radius of 1360.00 feet, a central angle
00° 26' 23" and a chord bearing S 77° 59' 05" E, 10.44
feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING, containing 1,364 square
feet of land.

City vacate a portion of the 9000 block of Randol Mill Road, the same being the
PLANNING•1 northeast corner of the intersectionof said Randol Mill Road and Meadowbraok
CITY SERVI Es.A~'ive, as shown on the attached map.

parkway and. contains telephone and electric utility facilities. The subject

VcneCn3t property, to expand the building area, and provide more usable yard space.
~~. ~#~e necessary and appropriate monetary consideration has been placed in escrow
with the. Real Property Department of the City. Reviewing City departments and
private utility companies have raised no objections to this request provided the
vacated right-of-way is replatted with adjacent property and retained as a
utility easement for the existing utility facilities. A satisfactory replat,
dedicating and retaining the necessary and appropriate utility easements, has
been submitted.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends that the sub-
ject street be vacated as requested.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating a portion of the
9000 block of Randol Mill Road, as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
