ORDINANCE NO. ~~
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING THE 4200
BLOCK OF WARREN COURT, A PUBLIC STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY BEING
50 FEET WIDE, MORE OR LESS, AND EXTENDING FROM THE NORTH
RIGHT-OF WAY LINE OF PENSACOLA STREET NORTH 190 FEET TO
THE TERMINATION OF SAID WARREN COURT; PROVIDING FOR REVER-
SION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT THE 4200 Block of Warren Court, a public street right-of-
way being 50 feet wide, more or less, and extending from the north
right-of-way line of Pensacola Street north 190 feet to the termina-
tion of said Warren Court, be and the same is vacated, abandoned,
and permanently closed and extinguished as a public street right-
of-way.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated public
street right-of-way is hereby released and shall revert to the
adjacent owner as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or-
dained.

Rogers and Rogers Investments, owner of all abutting property, has requested that
"~ the City vacate the 4200 black of Warren Court a width of 50' from Pensacola
Street north 190' to its termination, ae shown on the attached map.
The subject street right-of-way, acquired by dedication, is open on the ground
and contains no utility facilities. The subject vacation request is made in
order to replat the vacated right-af~-wey with adjjacent property, thus expanding
the building area, and providing more usable yard space.
The necessary and appropriate monetary consideration has been placed in escrow
with the~Real Property Department of the City. Reviewing City departments and
private utility companies have raised no objections to this request provided the
vacated right-of-way ie replotted with adjacent property. A eatiafaGtory replat
has been submitted. '
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends that the sub-
jest street be vacated ae requested.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating a portion of the 4200
block of Warren Court, as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
