DAVIS e,A ion V-73-57)
North Fort Worth State Bank, with consent of all other abutting property owners,
has requested that the City vacate New Street in the 100 block from Ellis Avenue
east to North Main Street and the north-south alley in Block 1, M. G. Ellis Ad-
dition, from N. W. 23rd Street north to N. W. 24th Street, as shown on the attach-
ed map.
The subject rights-of-way were acquired by dedication. New Street is paved with
curb and gutter and the alley is partially paved. There are existing utilities
located in the alley right-of-way. The reviewing City departments and private
utility companies have no objection to this request provided the vacated rights-
of-way are replatted with adjoining property and easements are retained for exist-
ing utilities thereon.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends adoption of an
ordinance vacating the public rights-of-way as requested. The City staff has
received a satisfactory replat.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject rights-of-way as
recommended by the City Plan Commission.
