AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $48, 772 FROM THE GENERAL FUND
BALANCE AND $181,831 FROM THE RETAINED EARNINGS OF THE
WATER AND SEWER FUND, AND TRANSFERRING A TOTAL OF $4,397
FROM THE BALANCES OF VARIOUS INDIVIDUAL DEPARTMENTAL
FUNDS, TO ACCOUNT NO. 13-10-00, INDEX CODE 208892, "FIXED
ASSETS RECORDS PROJECT, PHASE I" FOR USE IN FISCAL YEAR
1983-19$4; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; MAKING
THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF PRIOR ORDINANCES AND
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That there shall be appropriated $48,772 from the General Fund
Balance and $181,831 from the retained earnings of the Water and
Sewer Fund, and that a total of $4,397 out of the estimated revenues
accruing to the City of Fort Worth for the fiscal year 1983-1984
included in the budget of the City Manager, Ordinance No. 8886,
shall be transferred from the balances of the following individual
departmental funds:

to Account No. 13-10-00 for the purpose of funding the "Fixed Assets
Records Project, Phase I".
SECTION 2.
That should any portion, section or part of a section of this
Ordinance be declared invalid, inoperative or void for any reason by
a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision, opinion or judg-
ment shall in no way impair the remaining portions, sections or
parts of sections of this Ordinance, which said remaining provisions
shall be and remain in full force and effect.

SECTION 3.
That this Ordinance shall be cumulative of Ordinance No. 8886,
and all other ordinances and appropriations amending the same except
in those instances where °the prow-isions of this Ordinance are in
direct conflict with such other ordinances and appropriations, in
which instances said conflicting provisions are hereby expressly
repealed .
SECTION 4.
That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or-
dained .

Background
On April 10, 1984 (M&C G-5960), the City Council approved implementation of
Phase I, Fixed Assets Records Project, and directed the Department of Law to ~
prepare the necessary Supplemental Appropriation Ordinance
Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached Supplemental
Appropriation Ordinance which appropriates $48,772 from the General Fund
Balance, $181,831 from the Retained Earnings of the Water and Sewer Fund
and $4,397 from the balances of various departmental accounts in the General
Fund for the purpose of transferring a total of $235,000 to Account No. 13-10-00,
I C. 208892, "Fixed Assets Records Project, Phase I."
