AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND ANNEX-
ING CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF
FORT Y40RTH; PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED
IN A DAILY PJEWSPAPER PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCORD-
ANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 40, CHAPTER XXVIII
OF THE CITY CHARTER; AND PRESCRIBING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City
of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and
made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being situ-
ated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds as
follows:
Being a tract of land south of the City of Fort
Worth and lying in the J. M. B. Smith, J. W. Williams,
E. Littlepage and I. Flores Surveys;
BEGINNING at a point in the present City of Fort
Worth City Limit Line at its intersection with the
west line of County Road No, 1035;
THENCE southwesterly, southerly, southwesterly,
southerly, westerly and southerly along the northwest-
erly, westerly, northwesterly, westerly, northerly and
westerly line of County Road No. 1035, with its meanders,
to its intersection with the south line of the I. Flores
Survey;
THENCE west along the south line of the I. Flores
Survey to its intersection with the west line of the
E. Littlepage Survey produced south;
TIFMCE north, to and along said line produced and
along the west line of the E. Littlepage Survey to its
northwest corner;
THENCE east along the north line of the E. Little-
page Survey to its intersection with the easterly City
Limit Line in the J. W. Williams Survey produced south;
THENCE north to the southeasterly corner of the
present City of Fort Viorth City Limit Line in the J. W.
I-lilliams Survey;
THENCE northerly, easterly , northerly, easterly,
southerly, easterly and southerly along the present
City of Fort ,North City Limit Line to the place of be-
ginning and containing approximately 2.1 square miles.
SECTION 2.
That this ordinance shall be published one time in The Fort ;orth
Press, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance
with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter =1I of the City Chanter.

SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and
effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty
(30) days from the date of its publication, as aforesaid, and it is so
ordained.
Presented and passed on first reading Friday, the day of
1958.

Members of the City Council Re: Annexation of Lot A, Block 86.of Fort Worth South hills Addition, Owned by
Fort Worth Independent School
Mrs. NickniRht and Gentlemen: District
A request has been received from the Fort Worth Independent School
District that Lot A, Bieck 86, South Bills Addition be annexed to the
Citv of Fort North. The School Board expects to have approximately
450 students enrolled at this location in September, 1962, and utilities
are needed to serve the tract.
This request has been reviewed by the Planning Departmont,, and a report
is attached. It is recommended that ordinances be adopted annexing this
6.47 acre tract out of the J. S1. B. Smith Survey.
