ORDINANCE NO. ~~
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING THE 10 FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED IN AND
BETWEEN LOTS 1 AND 2, BLOCK 1, RIDGLEA COUNTRY CLUB
ESTATES, FROM RIVERRIDGE ROAD NORTHEASTERLY 120 FEET TO
INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 820 (SOUTHWEST LOOP); PROVIDING FOR
REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT the 10 foot wide utility easement located in and between
Lots 1 and 2, Ridglea Country Club Estates, from Riverridge Road
northeasterly 120 feet to Interstate Highway 820 (Southwest Loop),
be and the same is vacated, abandoned, and permanently closed and
extinguished as a public utility easement.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated public
utility easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent
owner as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or-
dained.

Mr. Ray-Hawrylak, owner of all abutting property, has requested that the City
vacate the 10' wide utility easement in and between Lots 1 and 2, Block 1,
Ridglea Country Club Estates, from Riyerridge Road northeasterly 120' to Inter-
state l~.ighway 82Q (Southwest Loop), as shown on the attached maps
The subject utility easement, acquired by dedication, is platted but contains
na utility facilities. The subject vacation request is made in order to
incorporate the vacated easement areas with adjacent property, thus expanding
the building area, and providing more usable yard space.
It is the opinion of the Real Property Department that the interest of the City
in the subject utility easement described in this vacation has no monetary
value to the City if same is vacated.
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no
objections to this request.
Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Council adopt an ordinance vacating the 10'
wide utility easement in Lots 1 & 2, Block 1, Ridglea Country Club Estates
Addition.
